How did you get your start in Triathlons? I was born with Cystic Fibrosis and could never take part in Triathlons when I was younger even though I wanted to. On September 15, 2001 I had a double lung transplant that changed everything. |

What is your favorite workout? Sunrise ocean swims on Tuesdays and Thursdays |

If you could train for a week with one other triathlete who would it be and why? My training partner Terry Mann. He’s like another brother to me and we push ourselves a lot when training together. |

If you could have one superhero power what would it be? To run fast!!! |

Describe your biggest race disaster. 2005 Ironman Florida – I went too hard on the bike and up the last high rise bridge at mile 100. I felt a sharp pain in my thigh and I ended up partially tearing two of my quad muscles in my right leg. |

What culinary indulgence do you allow yourself after a big race (that you don’t normally partake of)? I don’t usually restrict my diet too much. I eat more candy afterwards though. |

What is the worst job you’ve ever had? Manager at Toys R Us for 4 Christmas Seasons!! |
