Where did you grow up? I grew up in just south of Seattle in a city called Burien Washington.

Favorite TriSports.com product: I like to use Accelerade on my rides and stop by the store to lust over the sweet TT bikes when I need more mix.

What other sports have you participated or competed in? I grew competing in everything especially swimming and soccer. I started running cross country in high school to get fit for soccer and found out I was a better runner than a soccer player. I ran for the University of Arizona Cross Country and Track teams and specialized in the 1500m

Have you ever accidentally destroyed a very expensive piece of gear? Not yet, but I did brake a rib in a fall and the ER bill was pretty big.

What culinary indulgence do you allow yourself after a big race (that you don’t normally partake of?   A BBQ Bacon Burger

When I am not training/racing, I enjoy... Hanging out with my baby boy, Ethan.

What is the worst job you’ve ever had? I worked in a biochem lab and had do these stinky, smelly 12 liter preparations of E. coli bacteria that were making the protein we wanted to study.

Recent Race Results: Las Palomas Triathlon, 1st AG, 7th OA;  Pacific Crest Triathlon Olympic Distance, 1st AG, 6th OA
