What is your favorite product available at TriSports.com? My wet suit, I hate cold swims

How did you get your start in Triathlons? “I think I am going to try a Triathlon.”  Seriously and that is all it took…hook line and sinker

What is your favorite workout? It was Mt. Lemon actually the “Double Lemon”, now it is a 28mi loop of Pennsylvania hills

When I’m not training/racing, I enjoy…” Sleeping and my Family

If you could train for a week with one other triathlete who would it be and why? Dave Scott, Mark Allen, or Natasha Badmann – they found a way to be so good for so long, there has got to be something to learn from them.

If you could do any triathlon in the World (regardless of monetary restrictions) which one would you do? IM New Zealand, never been there would love and can not wait to go

Describe your biggest race disaster. So far, with fingers crossed, I have not had a “race disaster”. I did have a race where I almost quit half way through the swim due to nausea, could not catch my breath, and a headache. I told myself I drove to far and paid too much to just quit. Ended up finishing, though completely SPENT

Do you have a non-negotiable pre-race ritual? A pre-race shower to wake me up at 4am

What culinary indulgence do you allow yourself after a big race (that you don’t normally partake of)? Carl’s Jr. Western Bacon Cheeseburger or Double Stuffed Oreo’s, sometimes both

Have you ever accidentally destroyed a very expensive piece of gear? (For example, have you driven into the garage with a bike on the roof, run over race wheels, etc.) I have not, knocking on wood, destroyed an expensive piece of gear, though I have been about 3 feet away from driving into my garage with my bike on the roof, thank goodness for the glove on the rear view mirror reminder.

What is the worst job you’ve ever had? Carpet installer for big businesses, worked from 5pm – 7am, Yuck!!

What adjective describes you best? Charismatic

Finally, do you have any advice for athletes new to multi-sport competition?  Don’t be that guy/girl that I can not stand.  Unwilling to help out other triathletes pre-race, thinking and acting like he/she is the best, even though they may be, and never thanking a race-day volunteer
